My 2017: Achievements and Failures - What a great year 2017

                       Hi guys, I just saw the contest held by @anomadsoul, in this contest, you have to write a post about your achievements and failures this year. Every time after we do something, it's the habit of most of us to look back and see what the results were and have a feedback. So here's my Achievements and my Failures in 2017.

Achievements

Meeting the Steemit community

               I think that finding the Steemit community is the greatest achievement in 2017. There are so many achievements I made through steemit. 

• Finding a great way to earn money

        Though I am 14, I was able to earn some money through blogging here on steemit. Before I got to know steemit, I didn't had anyway to earn at least a penny. But now I'm able to earn so much money while doing my studies.

• Meeting friends from different nations

         Before I got to know steemit, I didn't had any foreign friends. But after I started my account on Steem, I got to know so many friends from different parts of the world. Now I don't have to hesitate to visit any country because I know that I have great friends from different countries.

• Enjoying myself engaging in useful work.

           Before I got to know steemit, when I had free time and got nothing to do I just had fun looking at posts on G+ and chatting and some things like that. But now, I have a great way to spend my free time. I get so much information about different things through steem. 

So I can say that finding steemit was the greatest achievement in  2017. And I think that it was not only a great achievement in 2017 but also a great achievement in my whole life.

Being admired by the school principal

             Me and my friend did a great job in our annual Pirith Pinkama. And because of that, we were admired and appreciated by our school principal at the school assembly. I became someone whose name is talked by a valuable person at public. 

Becoming a school prefect

             Prefects are the ones who stand at the 3rd place in school. First the principal, teachers and then the prefects. Being a prefect is a life experience which sharpens our leadership qualities. I am too much happy that I was chosen as one of the prefects in 2017. 

Getting good grades in exam

                This year for all the three term test exams, I've got good grades in exams. You can see my results in this term test in this post. I am happy that I have improved in my studies this year. 

                 In the second term test I got the highest marks for science from the students who are learning in English medium. I was appreciated by our science teacher, class teacher, classmates and my family.

Improve my drawing skills.

                   I was not good in drawing. I wasn't even able to draw a tree. But this year, I practiced and improved my drawing skills. Now I am able to draw Anime and some more things. 

Started my own teaching class

                  Four weeks ago on 11th November I started my first class in my life teaching to a 11 year old girl who is living nearby our house. I am giving her English lessons and from next week I'm gonna have another student in my class. I've never held a class before and it's a big achievement in my life.

Failures

Being unable to work according to a time table

                    I had a big dream of arranging my work according to a time table and working according to it. Though I was able to make a time table, I wasn't able to work according to it. So I always had trouble arranging my work.

I think that it was the only failure I had in 2017. I couldn't remember anything else. 

So finally I have to say that this year was an awesome year with many achievements.
