My Top Posts of 2017 :: Come with me down my steemit memory lane...

A few days ago, sissy @erangvee nominated me to share my TOP 5 POSTS IN 2017.

With over 2,400 posts and comments I already made here on steemit for the past 224 days, I thought - which ones are my top favorites?!

Well, in no particular order, here are but a few posts that I feel have made my steeming in 2017 very engaging and worthwhile.

I am a full time working mom. Will homeschooling work for us?

This was my one of my very first posts here on steemit. I was just learning the ropes, at the same time we as a family were in a midst of a big decision making stage. Through this post, I was able to learn a lot about homeschooling from people who have actually been through it. It has definitely helped us cement our decision.

Preempting my 500 Followers Milestone - A Reflection of My Steemit Journey So Far

Don't we just love celebrating milestones?

I got 500 followers in 10 weeks! I also narrated about my steemit addiction and my successful stint at @merej99's Community Engagement Challenge. Those were really best times, put all the challengers on top of their toes to create quality and engaging content! Least to say, I learned a lot through that experience.

10 weeks in and I had really felt the steemit effect. This platform is really SOMETHING!

Set Me Free (Poetry)

I wrote quite a few poems here at steemit already. I have not written any poems for as long as I could remember and I am glad that steemit helped me "trigger" that poet in me again. This poem is also extra special, as this was written at the time when I was deeply contemplating on what next move I need to make in my career. I have afterwards shared a lot of the developments following my decision here at steemit.

My Nifty or Thrifty Mommy Series

Being a mom (of three, mind you!) I have been into a lot of upcycling, DIYs and repurposing. My first several posts here at steemit focused on this subject. I actually shared 4 blogs on this series. It has been a great help for me and I hope that it's been of help to others too.

Life is Tough But So Am I. A New Beginning.

Lastly, I am sharing my declaration that I am stronger than anything that has been going on in my life. 2017 was a year full of everything. It was nice to end the year on a strong note and start the new year positively.

Well, I think it's a little bit too late to join the contest by @rocking-dave, but I am definitely glad to have come across it and share my old posts that have already been buried on my feed. At least other new steemians may have the chance to see them and maybe get at least a little inspired.
