My Top 5 Posts From 2017

in my2017top5 •  7 years ago

I heard about Steemit from a dear friend of mine @shenoy. Initially, I was very reluctant to join Steemit and thought it's a total waste of my time. Boy, I was an idiot back then! :D

After I joined Steemit, I started to spend some time reading posts, browsing content and understood that each one of us uses Steemit differently. While I came across a lot of blogs with high following posting plagiarised content and reaping out the rewards, I also did find a few blogs posting good original content which had almost no visibility.

Thanks to @rocking-dave who catered to this "issue", and thought of a to challenge to help out steemians posting good content get a wider audience. Special thanks to @hungry-nomad for nominating me to take up the challenge.

Let's begin #my2017top5:

1. My Introduction post: This was my first post on Steemit, well not the first, first, but the first. You get it. In this post I #introducemyself. If you want to know more about me and what I do, you should definitely read this one. (I'll let you in on a secret, I make amazing videos :p Shhh!)

2. KR Market, Bangalore: In this post, I explore KR Market, one of the biggest flower markets in Asia. I explore the market, find interesting objects for sale, interact with locals, all and all I have a lot of fun. This was probably one of the best days 2017 and one of the most fun videos that I have made.

3. Bangalore Palace, India: Located in the center of Bangalore, is Bangalore palace. An epitome of beauty and architecture. Built in 1878, this palace was home to the Royal Family of Mysore(The Wadiyar Family). I visit the palace for the first time and like all palaces, this palace was huge. Spread across 450 acres, equipped with 35 bedrooms, a swimming pool and what not. You should definitely read this one if you are into history. You can read it even if you are not :p

4. Understand the Bitcoin Forks: Bitcoin Fork is a change to the bitcoin protocol, which means making changes to the previous rule-set resulting in the creation of two different cryptocurrencies both with a shared history.

Confused?
In this post, I explain everything you need to know about bitcoin forks. An interesting and informative read.

5. Exploring Gokarna, India: Gokarna is possibly the most beautiful place that I have been to. It's laidback culture, the vibe, the beaches are absolutely mesmerizing. I made a series of two videos, exploring this small town and capturing almost everything that this place has to offer. If you want a getaway place, this is the one.
