Welcome to 2019! A new year begins, but how did it end? I believe that there is as much way to celebrate the New Year as of people on the earth ... I have lived many different New Year party, with different friends, in different countries, but this year and for the first time, it's with my best friend, who is like my big brother and his friends that I celebrated it. And it's this NYE celebration that I'm going to share with you, a New Year's Day, how to say? Very French !
14:30 - Shopping List
Firstly we met together to drink a tea, talk about the menu for the dinner and make the shopping list. It's very important because the supermarkets of December 31 are full of people who jostle, who respect nothing and who scream. But we are reckless and so we went there anyway!

The idea for the evening meal was to make an apéro-dînatoire literally translated as aperitif-dinner, which means that we plan several small things (we mean by this: amuse-bouche, finger-food, raw vegetables ...), we do that quite often in France because this avoids getting to the stove early in the morning and finishing late in the afternoon so we can spend more time together, it pleases everyone and it's excellent!

17:00 - Cooking Time
After the vicissitudes of the supermarket, we went to the host's house to cook a little, especially desserts. As I said, the advantage of doing such a dinner where you peck in different dishes is that there is not much preparation. For the little story we often do this kind of aperitif in France during summer with friends, everyone brings something, we share everything, we redo the world while drinking wine or beer, but the real idea behind that is to spend time together.

After baking the last cake, everyone went home to get ready and we came back to my best friend's place for finishing the meal, setting up the table and the beginning of festivities.

Once the party started, we played "Limit-Limit-Limit". It's a card game where you have to create the most trashy phrase possible to earn points, it's very funny! We did a karaoke, Celine Dion is a classic. We also put on little hats to see who was the most ridiculous of us all.

A new cap jumps, a new bottle of champagne empties, we drink, we kiss, we wish the best, we dance, we do a battle of paper balls and streamers ... It's the new year!
02:00 - Enjoying the night
After dancing a crazy rock, eating dessert (a piece ... two pieces ... three pieces ... it's not my fault if it was excellent!) we had deep conversations with people a little alcoholic about love, politics, traveling, etc. This kind of conversation that we believe very deep on the moment but that we find futile the next day or that we have totally forgotten ... These are my favorite, it is a parallel world often utopian and that we would dream to create.
