Each place here in Philippines have there own delicacy, and Proudly in Tacloban our very own Binagol and Moron. You cant truly say that you already visited Tacloban City if you have not yet taste the sweetness of Binagol and Moron.
Try also to partner binagol and coffee surely you will love it.
Binagol
Ingredients of Binagol
- 1 cup rich coconut milk (made from 2 medium coconuts)
- ¾ cups raw gabi or Taro root, shredded.
- ¾ cup brown sugar.
- ½ can full cream condensed milk.
- 4 egg yolks.
- wilted banana leaves.
- 4 medium coconut shells, cleaned.
- string, for tying.
In the busy street of Downtown Area in Tacloban City you can notice this store that selling delicacies of Tacloban and native bags and souvenir items...
So what are you waiting for come and visit Tacloban City, Philippines... And surely you will find home away from home.
