The Business Reality

The knowledge that I most want to master is business. For me, this is the most difficult knowledge to learn.

So when I tried to dive into the business world, there were various methodologies to learn. There were some who preached online is the way to go, some just physically set up a stall and begin selling, some started by becoming a reseller (agent).

But the truth is, you can be successful no matter which way you choose, as long as you do your best. But which way should I take then? Choose the one which suits best to your strengths and abilities.

Throughout my journey of seeking knowledge in business, I have had a few mentors or gurus. However, the thing that I most disagree with is that when some of these mentors like to equate their success is simply money. For example, some would like to show the millions in their bank accounts, properties and luxury cars that they own.

I cannot deny the main objective of running a business people is to obtain profit and make money. And by potraying that making lots of money by running a business gives an inaccurate impression that it is easy to make money when you start a business. But once I stepped into the business world, it's SUPER difficult!

So, to the business mentors & gurus out there, please do not make money or wealth as a measure of success. Newbies in business like me will be chasing after money and wealth without knowing the intricacies and hardship of running a business. And eventually giving up when failing to obtain the 'success'.

Teach us properly, be transparent and sincere. I believe in any business whatsoever, if you are hardworking enough and have the right guidance, the money and wealth will come by itself.
