MY ART OF THE WEEK #ANIMAL : CHEETAH ON IT'S BEST

This is my art entry °°My Art of The Week°° leaded by @bien. I proposed and draw cheetach for this made me amaze since cheetah is the fastest animal on land. But what is really the characteristics of a cheetah?

Cheetah is built for speed. It has long, slim, muscular legs, a small, rounded head set on a long neck, a flexible spine, a deep chest, nonretractable claws, special pads on its feet for traction and a long, tail for balance. Although fast, the cheetah cannot run at full speed for long distances (100 yards is about the limit) because it may overheat.

Cheetahs have distinctive black "tear stripes" that connect from the inside corner of each eye to the mouth that may serve as antiglare device during daytime.

Cheetah also lived in Africa.

So here are the, steps of my drawing.

Medium Used

First I draw the layout :

Second is I able to trace the outer part of the drawing and make some dark spots on the forehead part.

Thirdly I darken it through pen.

For this time I already used technical pen for the succeeding steps :

Then for the final part :

While creating the art, I appreciate the beauty behind it. It took me 1.5 hours to finalize my drawing.
