No one I know that isn't frightened of spiders. Household spiders are somewhat less fearsome, but garden spiders are very terrifying looking spiders like this one.

I spotted this spider at the corner of my house, weaving the web and was dangling down to my eyes level. Eew..I almost walked right into it.

I have respect for all things big and small, so I kept my distant and snapped a few shots. The entire time I was there, I was afraid it would jump on me, but thanks goodness, it left me alone while keeping busy weaving its web.

Thank you!

They creep me out a bit too, so I avoid them as well! I know they are an important part of the ecosystem, though, so I try to remember that when I look at them.

Oh me too and try not to squash them, but if they are in the house, I have to clean them out in not a friendly way :-)

I'm not a spider fan. And I feel cheated. I got bitten by a spider before Christmas and I never have gotten any spider-man like powers from it. Ha!!

Not me either! I was bitten many times and if I had the powers, I would be super spider-woman by now :-)

thanks for the entry, nice photos. I agree I too have respect, but me and spider cant coexist in the same place, me inside the spider in the garden where they belong, hehe

oh definitely! I can't welcome inside spiders at all, and some bite!

These are so beautiful Icy!

Thank you!

That is a beautiful specimen Dear Icy.............fabulous macro 🌸💖🌸

Thank you very much Lena!

Spiders are fascinating creatures. The big ones are scary!
This summer I had a ton of them in my garden, had to pick one by one to relocate them! 😏

Wow.. you are brave! I just leave them and avoid them jumping on me!

hahaha, I am using industrial gloves and a container with a lid. They are actually more scared than humans!
