My True Binance Story

BINANCE STORIES
This is my true Binance story, I promise I'll try to keep it as positive as possible, but fact is, it's a sad true story. I started off with 6.03 ETH bought at 880$ on 20th Feb 2018.
ETH price was falling since then so I decided to transfer my funds on Binance exchange. Well, my first trade on Binance was on 02nd March 2018 at 17:34. Yes I know I started very late, that's because I didn't have money to invest in crypto 5 years ago, unfortunately. I really didn't know what was I doing at that time, I mean changing ETH for LTC sounds crazy for a N00b. I bought a small amount, just for precaution 0.09988ETH at 0.23951 Satoshi and got 0.417 LTC.
The next day I went full on and bought 497.11BNB at 0.011927 for 5.929031ETH, I thought well I might use that 50% discount on trading fees if you have BNB, by the way Binance coin is a really great coin just like the Binance exchange. Later that week I made my first profit on 08th March I sold 519.3 BNB at 0.012 for 6.2316ETH. I was very happy with myself, but I knew in the back of mind that I had been very lucky in that trade, let's consider it beginners luck. Every good or experienced trader knows that there are losses in this business, so I kept my enthusiasm low and educated myself. So I began absorbing knowledge from youtube about Fibonacci, how to read candlesticks, buy low, sell high, how to read charts, longterm shortterm trade, etc. . .
ONT Competition15th March 2018 my big adventure with ONThology began. I noticed there was this ONT competition, with 6.25 milion tokens to giveaway. I was buying and selling like a madman, until 16th March when I got 2411 ONT tokens at 0.002665 Satoshi for 6.425315ETH and sold everything a few days later 3411 ONT tokens for 8.837901ETH. I got 1000 tokens from Binance because of the ONT Competition. These competitions are very cool.

Even though I earned 2.6ETH, I think it was a bad trade and a big mistake by selling that day, because a few weeks later the price rose up to 0.0115. I would've had 39ETH at that price in my wallet. As Warren Buffet once said, that longterm investment is always better than shortterm. Unfortunately my greed started to kick in and completely omitted this simple rule and later on totally devastated me. As you can notice, the trend of ONT token is still rising today, so HODL for 2 months would've been a much much better move.
Afterall i was sadisfied with the profit and i decided to split it between XRP and STORM. So I invested 2.26ETH in XRP and with the rest I traded STORM. 23th March 2018 STORM already gained 30%, I knew it was very risky to buy, but it was still rising, so I had to buy.

08th May 2018 is my final day of crypto trading, as I made the biggest mistake of my life. I noticed the Binance story competition and scrolling down twitter I saw another twit saying Round 2: one generous Binancian just donated 5.000ETH and Binance decided to give back to the community, so if you send 1ETH we'll give you back 10ETH. I fell for this scam like an idiot, greed overwhelmed me completely, I just couldn't resist this easy money, so I sold all NANO I bought in the first week of May, in total 7.7ETH. Greed was telling me this is my big shot, my one and only chance of getting big money (for 7.7ETH I would get back 77ETH). Today in retrospective to this story, it's unimmaginable/ridiculous/bizarre, but greed makes us unreasonable, it's a very powerful feeling, you can't think straight/rationally, can't asses the risks, that was my most vulnerable moment and I made my biggest mistake.
My FundsI really love Binance it even tried to prevent me from making that transaction to the phishing address, but greed totally overwhelmed my reasoning and I was looking for a way to withdraw my money on that scam address. So I've sent my funds to MyEtherWallet and from there to the scam address. My BalanceIn the end, I would like to say I really love Binance, it's a great platform it even tried to prevent me from doing wrong. Life goes on and i have to find a job, earn my money back. I am trying to be positive even though I'm struggling, I lost all my savings. I am still an honest and sincere person, I won't become a scammer I promise.
