This post is an entry into the weekly contest of @socalsteemit where we show our California.
The local fires have subsided and are largely contained, though not technically out yet. Some winds could cause more problems, but things seem to calming at the moment. The new problem is a heat wave causing triple digit temperatures when we should be getting fall weather - we are back indoors:
It was 106 degrees fahrenheit yesterday so the kids are relegated to playing indoors, which is what our current California looks like. Still having fun though, so hard to complain too much.
