Hot - Show Us Your California

HI friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

Much of the United States is currently under a heatwave, and Southern California is no different. Temps are in the triple digit degrees Fahrenheit and everyone is finding ways to beat the heat.

For us, that is staying inside in the air conditioned house mostly, but we still need to get outside for fresh air and to get our energy out. Not having a pool, we often resort to the hose:

Here is my daughter beating the heat under a patio umbrella (while sitting on a small house, lol):

So we are beating the heat here - hopefully the weather turns slightly milder soon!
