Racing - Show Us Your California

Hi Friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

One of my favorite things to do is go to Santa Anita Park, the world famous horse race track located in Southern California. While I am no expert in horse racing, I do enjoy the ambiance, the fun, the racing, and the venue - it all makes for a relaxing time at the race track.

I took the opportunity to go one Friday afternoon and watch the races - they had free entry Friday, and a $3 beer special - a cheap way to spend the afternoon. Here are a few pics:

I lost a little money betting the horses, but not too bad, so all in all, an awesome time.
