Fishing on a Island - Big Island of Hawaii

I found this small rock outcropping and started to whip from it. The water was pretty deep right off the edge.

The wave rolled in around me.

I got two huge strikes that had my heart pounding but I could not bring them in. The fish were too big and easily snapped my 4 pound test leader.

While I did not catch anything the big strikes were awesome and made my day.
