We tried, but what did we catch?
Last night the moon was bright, the rain was off and on, and the temperature was just under sixty degrees. It seemed like a possibly good night to try a little fishing. Down in the lake, there is an old bridge from an old city which spends part of the year underwater and part of the year exposed. Basically, it's a bridge to nowhere these days, when you can even see it.
Since we had recently caught some minnows in the minnow trap, we thought we'd try a bit of fishing. Unfortunately, we only really caught tiny fish in the cast net when we were trying to make sure we had enough bait. We caught Log Perch, Yellow Perch, and some sort of catfish or bullhead. They may not have been big, but they were still cool to see. Here they are.

That's so cute. I hope I can experience the same someday. 😊😊😊

Sometimes the fishing simply isn't meant to be. Hope you threw them back to grow big and strong... it's an important part of the ecosystem to enable good spawning and to allow fish stocks to replenish.
