Mother Deer and her baby Fawn -
Looks as she is looking for a spot to hide her baby
while she searches for food....
Baby is hidden
mother is off to search for food.....
Bobcat who has recently had young to feed
walks pass area
where Fawn is hidden and sleep..
Hunting for food
Notice the direction he is heading......
Baby Fawn didn't last long unfortunately....
Fawns do not move from the location they are left in
while waiting for their mother to return
Mother is back to search for her young
where she left it
But the hash reality is
her baby didn't survive
fawns have little to no scent but
still 57% do not live longer than
3 months.....28% to 40% will not live pass 6 months...
These factors include predators, starvation, failure to nurse,
infections, and parasites......Its harsh but its a reality....
