Many firsts for my family since I started Steeming in June 2017. I know @bitrocker2020 must have had thought of having this kind of activities for kids in his plans as he loves kids. And it's good timing now that @davidke20 is active in Steemit which makes it easier for our kids @annabellenoelle & @andrewnoel to participate in #myjuniors, because both of us can be with them.

@annabellenoelle recovered from high fever a day before #myjuniors event. She was still coughing and was extremely cranky. Along with that crankiness, I was not exactly in the mood for festive activities. However, the joy and happiness of the kids with their proud parents making lanterns together was infectious. I had to try manage @annabellenoelle's moods so that I wouldn't get upset and spoil the day.

@andrewnoel was happy by himself following @zord189's instructions on lantern making to a T. @zord189 'gor gor' is a God-sent babysitter. @elizacheng was busy making sure everyone got their materials for making lanterns and ensuring everyone got the production process right. The rest of the adults took photographs, networked and talked Steem.

The People Behind #myjuniors

After all that, there was even a SURPRISE !!. And what a surprise it was. I would never ever have thought of it. A thoughtful person in the committee managed to pushed the surprise into the agenda. @bitrocker2020 was calling me into the conference room. 'come, come' he said, with a look like he had something to discuss with me. Lo and behold! There was a cake! But... but, it wasn't my birthday. I moved in closer to take a look.

You can imagine my surprise now? Who would have thought of it? I think the only person who knew something was going on that evening for me and @davidke20 was @karinzdailygrind. But the committee obviously approved this. So, many thanks to the entire committee. Everybody got to eat cake. The kids loved the cake. I think that was an awesome ending to an awesome event.

Before you congratulate us, allow me to set the record straight. It wasn't the actual date of our anniversary. That day we were to attend a ceremony in my church. A ceremony in conjunction with the Catholic Church's World Marriage Day when Catholic couples all around the world renew their marriage vows in the month of February. February being the month of love 💖.

Our 12-Year Marriage Is Now Renewed

A sincere THANK YOU from me to everyone who shared this day with us. We created some beautiful memories.
