Mymensingh female 'drug dealer' shot dead
Online Reporter A female 'drug vendor' shot dead body was found in Mymensingh in the ongoing anti-drug drive of the law enforcing agencies.
Police claimed that he was killed by drug dealers in two groups.
In the last one month of the anti-drug campaign killed 150 people, this is the first time in the case of death of a woman. The deceased was identified as Rehana Akter, 38, of Mymensingh city's Sankipara area.
District Detective Police (DB) OC Ashiqur Rahman commented that Rehman has seven drug cases in Mymensingh Kotwali Police Station.
He said the people rescued the body of Rehmana from Gondrapa area of sadar upazila on Sunday morning after getting information from the locals. Later, it was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
"It is initially thought that due to share of drug money, he may be killed in clashes between the two sides."
OC said, '' Doing business of drugs '' behind a movie hall in the city, Rehena said. On May 31, Rehana escaped with police force in the area.
From there, police arrested Rehana, along with his brother Billal, Perth, Rubel and younger sister Sharifas.
Law enforcement agencies were reported to have killed 'drug vendors' while shooting at 'gunfight' at the beginning of the ongoing anti-drug drive operation.
After questioning human rights organizations, it is said mostly by the law enforcers for the killing of 'drug vendors in their own shootings'.
