BTW, the huge problem on SteemIt is that you only get the payout if the total votes for the post add up to more than $0.02 .

If you check your wallet you will see that SteemIt has delegated 15 SP to your account.

The Steem Upvote Calculator will estimate the value of a vote. If you go to that site and type in 15000, you will see that the upvote of an account with 15K steem power is worth $0.83. Divide by a thousand. Your upvote (and my upvote for that matter) is worth $0.0083 .

To get a payout, you need to get 20 new accounts to upvote your post, or one vote by a person who has a lot of steem.

The easiest way to do the latter is to network with accounts that are holding substantial sums of Steem.

Yes, the system is silly. The makers of the site are hoping that users will buy Steem and transfer into their account as SP so that their votes will be worth something.
