MyPictureDay Challenge Round #33 - FLOWERS MADE MY DAY

I decided to take a walk. I feel stressed out with all the work deadlines I am having, plus my nanny left for good. Arrrghhh! Why now?, I asked myself.

I needed a break.

I want to sniff fresh air.

I need to look for alternatives and options.

These beauties greeted me as I walk past through them. I had to stop and smell the flowers. In our country, we have bougainvillea in different colors, but mostly they are in pink. And note this, this flower is a member of thorny ornamental vines. It has torns everywhere, you really have to be careful or else you will be pricked! To be honest, I had been her victim several times way back in my childhood years.. hahahaha it basically grows everywhere! But despite it, I am not afraid to go near and admire her beauty. She is steady, strong and bold.

They may be tiny from a distance, but when you come closer, it blooms gracefully. I do not know what is the name of this flower but it seems it grows in the wild together with the weeds around her. I was initially attracted of her color. I only see purple flowers around in orchids.

When you feel a little stress or worn out or feeling blue, take a walk. Nature will heal your soul, as my mom would always say. She was right!!! It helps you think better. It helps you calm down.

I had picked a couple of these flowers to take home with me, so that I'd be reminded that there is a reason to smile.
