Official New Years Resolutions Challenge!

I was nominated for this challenge by my bestie, @nicnas.

Here are the rules:

Must post with #myresolution tag
Must analysis 2017 for you and your family
Must anticipate 2018 for you and your family
The Good, Bad & the Ugly
Must also include a resolution for 2018
Must Nominate someone who HASN'T completed the challenge

So here I go:

2017

This last year was a roller coaster for me and my family, lol. From January to June, I was at the end of my rein as PTA President at my little kids' school (don't judge) which was one of the toughest times of my life. I was exhausted from trying to fit myself into a box I don't belong in; tired of mediating between idiotic warring factions that made no sense, tired of the endless rules and regulations and of being the one enforcing them.

My husband and I agreed that after my tenure was over, that I would spend the next year figuring out what I wanted to do. I couldn't have told you at the time what I even enjoyed doing anymore... it had been kidskidskidskidskidsKIDSKIDSKIIIDDSSSkidskiiidds for over a decade and I was lost.

Summer hit and I had a job I enjoyed, and I thought that perhaps it may become the 'thing' in my life. Then my husband said 'Steemit has poker. There are these guys, Tuck and bigP...' and suddenly I remembered how much I love poker. I started playing, met @nicnas and @fivefiveeleven and @guyfawkes4-20 and @dontstopmenow and suddenly I was in love.

2018

This upcoming year will be amazing and full of poker and chatting and writing. I can't wait! My resolution is to stand strong in my convictions and make enough money for our family.
