MY JOURNEY INTO FREELANCING

Hello everyone!
I'm Qamarudeen, a Mathematics teacher and a content & copy writing specialist.

As a Mathematics teacher, I love what I do; making students see the beauty of mathematics and create a great interest in it. I never knew I would be a content writer until I met my mentor, Mr. Olaniyi (a professional content writer, SEO, and copywriter).

The day I met him, I asked if he knew about a home lesson or could help me get one. I said earlier that teaching mathematics is what I'm passionate about. Mr. Olaniyi was seeing a different me (someone with a vibrant personality), so he thought I should be able to put up writing skills. He invited me to his house and gave me a small task. That was the day I started my freelance journey.

The niche I wrote about was a product review. I wrote a review of 1000 word counts (#2 per word) for a motion camera. The content was amazing and unplagiarized. Though, he corrected some grammatical errors and added little information. I happily received my payment and left that day. My happiness was not mainly because of the prize I received, but for the first time, I was able to write such fantastic content.

I started developing my writing skills. From product review content, I graduated to writing blog posts. I started writing on different niches; pet, travels, beauty/skincare, real estate, and e-commerce.

You would be wondering how I've been able to do justice to those niches. Why not pick a niche and focus on it? It's good to niche down, but when you don't, you have an opportunity to explore and learn different things instead of limiting yourself to a niche. I love the niches I write about because they focus on the services people need the most.

Nothing comes easy, people say. My journey as a writer in those niches has not been easy. Being a full-time teacher, and after getting home from work in the evening already tired, I'll need to write some content. At some point, I will feel like quitting. But, the motivational talk from my mentor and the thought of having so much responsibility in my head keeps me going.

Today, as a content and copy writing specialist, I write to sell; I compel readers to take action by creating engaging and relatable content.

Wouldn't you love to work with a writer that cares about your business growth the same way you do?

Someone that could maintain your brand's voice, be available for a long-term project, and deliver on time without compromising quality?

I am your go-to writer for content that speaks to quality and converts to sales.

Interested in working with me?
It will be my pleasure.
