Technology has really improved our daily lives, as is with any technological advancement there has been problems associated with it such as scams, frauds and spams. With the promise of the internet of things the community has been working on solutions associated with technology. Blockchain technology is one promisisng new entrance in the scene and the features of a decentralized economy can be used to get rid of bad factor affecting technological advancements. Scams has a widespread environment within the technological sphere, they have been spread through phishing, counterfeits, identity thefts among others. The government and the community has been working very hard to fight this problem and offer solutions – the introduction of the digital currencies is promising and the vice has increased the problem where newcomers are scammed of their hard-earned money. A start-up by the name of shield is using this technology to help curb this problem.

MYSHIELD - DECENTRALIZED ANTI-SCAM PLATFORM

Myshield is a blockchain start that is decentralized in nature, using blockchain technology the start-up plans to secure online activities by providing a safe ecosystem for the space participants. The start-up platform uses artificial intelligence in order to detect fraud and nature of activities carried out in the internet.

Myshield platform will detect activities and incase an unusual activity is detected Myshield will end the transaction and notify the user. As a decentralized platform the community will be able to report any unusual activity and this will enable the platform to curb a wide spread online activity in a large scale. Recently there has been a growth in online fraud and scams where user accounts are wiped clean and hacked by hackers – the platform multilayered security infrastructure will secure the users and the decentralized nature of the platform will make the platform easy to be adopted by anyone using the internet including online shops and websites.

Blockchain security features such as smart contract, distributed ledger technology and decentralized nature will ensure transaction are protected and maintained by the community.

MYSHIELD SOLUTIONS

Myshiled will use the power of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence to fight against online scams and fraud. The platform will be able to notify its users on reported unusual activities and validate user's activities and report scams, this are the main solutions offered by the platform. Artificial intelligence will utilize the power of algorithms to detect unusual activities and when the platform is decentralized the community will be able to support and validate online activities.

The platform will incentivize the community to help report scam and maintain the platform and the platform will be able to curate activities and validate them. The main targets of the platform are cryptocurrency projects, social media platforms, e-commerce shops and applications.

Conclusions

We are more prone to cybersecurity threats ow more than ever, especially with the promise of the internet of things, the industry lacks proper regulatory infrastructure to curb this problem and at the speed technology is evolving we need a fast solution to cybersecurity problems. I believe the platform has a wide applicability and a user support base to help with the adoption of the platform. Myshield is a noble project and its one of the blockchain project I will keep an eye and help as a community to assist where I can in the realization of its goals.
