NESSIE

Nessie or sometimes called monster loch ness is a mysterious and unidentified animal (UMA). Nessie was caught on camera by a surgeon in Loch Ness in 1934 in the Scottish Highlands which caused a great controversy. But did you know, long before that, Loch Ness monster has been spread in the story of church legend in the first century AD. It is said that on August 22, 565, based on a literature entitled 'Life of St. Columba' by Adamnan, a cleric named St. Columba helped the Pict people or the people of Old Scotland who were suddenly attacked by a giant water creature while sailing on Loch Ness Lake.

Reportedly, with a prayer from the mainland, St Columba in the end managed to drive the monster. Since then, there's no explanation about Nessie. In 2003, a fossilised vertebra of a plesiosaur was found on the shore of Loch Ness. With this scientist declared nessie derived from an extinct prehistoric animal that is plesiosaurus.

The plesiosaur is a long-necked marine reptile of a plesiosaurous order that lives in water. Including the type of carnivore, because living in water makes it must eat fish.

Plesiosaurs can grow up to about 5 meters with a weight of at least 700 kg. They live alone and eat slow-moving or slow-moving aquatic animals, although experts calculate that plesiosaurs can swim up to speeds of about 40 km / h to hunt prey at sea or escaped from predators.

Did They Realy Extinct ?

As I said before There may not be much evidence if they still exist, but but that does not mean that they are completely extinct. Beside only about 1% of the sea area can be explored by humans and there are still 99% unexplored. There may still be a world untouched by the humans in which they live.
