I Just wanted to make a quick follow up post to fill you in on the result of my investigative quest.
If you have been following along, you would know that what was supposed to be a simple matter of contacting a company to request a copy of a lost TEFL certificate, turned into a multi-hour week long search when said company turned out to be defunct.
After unearthing bit by bit of information and stringing the data together, I was able to follow the CEO's trail to a new company.
I sent out a few messages and emails and waited.. after receiving no response for a few days, I was finally ready to admit defeat when.. lo and behold! A message in my inbox.
They had taken some time to clear my story and make sure everything lined up. It did and they were prepared to reissue my 120 Hour TEFL certification. After a few back-and-forth emails to get my proper details, today I received the certificate!

It just goes to show you, not all rabbit hole journeys are fruitless! The few extra hours spent was well worth it, considering I would have had to pay for another course and actually spend that time taking the course to get a new certificate.
I'd like to say, for all the scumbag things that Jimmy Crangle seems to have been guilty of in his storied career, this is NOT one of them. Thanks Jimmy, you're alright in my book 😎 👍
