Mystical places of Kiev. [Fasting 1.]

Hi guys! I begin the rubric in which I will talk about the mystical places of Kiev (Ukraine). In each city there are places where strange, incomprehensible and sometimes terrible things occur. And every such place has its own story. In Kiev, there are at least 13 such places. Today I will tell you about the Bald Mountain. To the delight of all the legendary Kiev witches and their real followers, in Kiev there are as many as five bald mountains. They are called so because of the fact that their tops lack vegetation. But, they say, in these places there is an abnormal energy. It is believed that somewhere near the gate is open to the other world. The atmosphere of this area is really unusual. Here, even on a sunny day, somehow not at ease, uncomfortable. When my friend and I walked there, we literally felt someone's presence, footsteps were heard and shadows appeared. In addition, throughout the mountain there are various inscriptions, signs, half of which we have not been able to decipher. The bald mountain is shrouded in many legends, most of which, of course, are common fictions. But the fact that with the psyche of people in this place there are some "changes" - a proven fact. The events of one of these legends occurred back in the 70s of the last century. Several soldiers who served in the unit that was just on this mountain, during the night duty decided to argue which of them and for what amount "do not be afraid" to stroll through the dark underground passages of the former fort. A brave man who agreed to such a test, no one else saw. In the morning the command of the unit in the dungeon was sent to a search group - and also did not return. Not a day, not three, or a week. They say, from the underground corridors of the fort came the deaf sounds of shots ... I wonder who had to fight the missing soldiers? I do not know whether this is true or not, but the Bald Mountain needs to be visited at least for the sake of the beautiful view that opens from the top of the mountain. This place will not leave anyone indifferent!
