Since I knew the fabric has transformed my life, to a point of total madness, to a point where I lose the sense of time, to a point where I burn rice because I can not release the needle, 😂 😂 😂.

Here begins the adventure or the madness,😆

The day I got into this, I did not know what I was doing, I just know, I saw a lady knitting a beautiful baby sweater, a green color combined with white and as we were in the waiting room where we did rehabilitation, I got closer and we started talking about how beautiful his work was, his combination of colors, the materials, and that is how we met. Her name is María Montilla, a beautiful lady who had been raised in a school of nuns and there she learned all the manual arts that exist. So we got to know each other day after day and each time I was more attracted by the things I did.

A great day, after arriving at my rehabilitation house I was talking to my neighbor, she is called Petra, she is a grandmother who at that time was about 76 years old, and I started telling her about my friend María and things so beautiful that I was making, and surprise mine when he tells me the magic phrase Would you like to learn? And there comes the most fantastic answer I could give to a person in my life "Of course Siiii", he suddenly went home and said "calm, I'll call you", and when he called me he had crochet threads and needles of knitting; I smiled with great amazement, and that's how the first crochet class of my life began.

Little by little I was weaving, my fingers ached a lot, but since I really wanted to learn to fight and fight until my first points came out, those points called them cadenetas and paticas, and I remember that day in the afternoon I had made a red and blue cloth that I still keep with a lot of love.
So I followed my friends Maria and Grandma Petra every day learning a world of things. Grandmother Petra and I looked like weaving spiders, we began to gather in the evenings at coffee time and while we chatted we wove hats, shoes, headbands, table cloths and more.

tissue fever

It seemed to awaken at that moment a boom, a fever for the tissue, but I do not mean me, but in the population in general; for that moment the materials were very cheap, and I started to buy wicks of all colors, threads, needles of all sizes, scissors, and accessories that would help me do a better job. My friends and my family could not believe it, that overnight I would be passionate about something else that had nothing to do with my police career.

Compulsive shopping

The madness took over me, there was no way to stop, I loved everything I saw, I was dying to have all the colors, I did not want anything to be missing when starting a project. I visited all the stores, I began to meet people from the world of handicrafts, to watch TV programs that I had always liked, because I had never been able to dedicate time to it because of my work. I tell them that even a sewing machine buys me with what they gave me in my work. Impressive the big world that is behind the crafts, sometimes you do not see.

My own company.

This is how my own company was born, called "El taller de carolina", where baby lingerie pieces are made in cross stitch, with excellent finishes and beautiful creations in crochet fabrics. My sister is my partner in the business and helped me get good clients. I did promotion through social networks, and thanks to smartphones I got to many people.

On the web you can get a world of pages that teach you about weaving.
Take this opportunity to thank groups such as:

These 6 years of intense search for personal and economic development have had ups and downs. Not everything has been rosy, it is strong but when there is encouragement and you are accompanied by God everything is possible. It is amazing to see how we fall in love in a rampant way of something. In my case I woke up very early and to all the trades of the house because as soon as the sun light was put in my window the adventure began, it was as if the door of the creation of the world was opened. LOL. Truly God gave us the ability to create wonderful things, since then I have not been able to stop.

I ask all the manuals to please appreciate your work, do not give it away, if you do not value who will do it.
In these difficult times for my country where the prices of things have skyrocketed due to unbridled hyperinflation that we do not know when it will end, we have had to reinvent ourselves; for now I do not want to despair or think about emigrating. But I'm not going to give my work away either.

I also advise that if you can set aside a percentage of your profit and buy material at a good price and save it.

Share your knowledge, you do not have to be selfish, when we do good to others that is returned in blessings, and as I tell my two children, it may not be returned in money or wealth but when they tell me God bless, that God will pay for it, those phrases are transformed into health for me and my family, they become protection, joy for my home and prosperity for my business.
It is very nice when I hand over a job and people open their eyes and are amazed at how beautiful it was and a phrase that I love when they say it to me is "God bless your hands" 👐
