The War of the Gods, and the Collapsed Mountain

According to the words of the North-American Klamath Indian tribe, Crater Lake in the State of Oregon is the result of a fantastic clash.
A long time ago, in the place of Crater Lake, there was a huge mountain, Mazama. Mazama was the home of Llao, the god of death. But, when Skell, the god of the sky, begun a war against him and threw fire on him, Llao had to escape to the underworld. Skell made the Mazuma collapse, so Llao never can escape. Skell conjured a beautiful blue lake on top of the collapsed mountain.
According to the geologists and historians, the story based on a volcano eruption, that happened 7700 years ago, which was stronger than the famous eruption of the Mount St. cataclysm. A huge magma chamber collapsed by the explosion, making a big hole in the ground. Probably the rainwater filled it later.

The Humanoid-Monkey Army and the Miraculous Bridge

The ancient Sanskrit epic, the Ramayana describes a classic kidnapping story. God Rama’s Wife, Sita forced to go to the island of Lanka. But her brother Lakshman built a bridge with his humanoid-monkey army, between India and Lanka. And then he crosses the bridge, and rescue Sita from the demon Ravana.

Of course, man-monkeys and gods are hardly demonstrable. From aerial footage, we know that there’s a strip of land that is sunk now between Sri Lanka and India. Some parts are still just a few meters below the water level.
Their sinking is probably caused by a 15th century giant cyclone.

The Second Sun
There are several stories from around the 1000’s which tells that another sun joined to the existing one. Of course, most reports color the event, but Persian scholar, Ibn Sina describes it in Kitab al-Shifa(The Book of Healing) very well. The unexpected guest had been in the sky for months, constantly changing its color and sparking until it finally faded and disappeared.

Now we know, that the scientist described a supernova. The “sun explosion” happened 7200 years ago, but because of its distance, people only could see it in the first millennium. According to the color changing, scientists claim that two white dwarves collided. Since then it collapsed of course, but it still has radiation. The SN 1006 object is still sensible.
