As simply as the title suggest... a picture of your current weather. Daily.
This community of Steemit is fantastic. So many different people all over the world cpnnecting, sharing ideas, trying to better the world and themselves and individuals. It is amazing!
I see so often, those who write, "find your niche". Ok,... aerial photography and weather. Found that.
Now... what I would love to do, since now being a member of Steemit for just over 1 month, I would like to start a new photo "tag", #myweather.
I figure being pretty new to the platform, this tag will need a few more iterations before it cements into the fabric of Steemit tags, and I could also use a bit more skill in the persuasion department but use the tag #myweather with a photo post of your current weather situation and I will personally visit your post and curate it. Regardless. When I say curate, I obviously mean, upvote and resteem! Doesn't have to be a long blurb, just:
Use the tag #myweather as the first tag in your photo post. Please, no spam post, only genuine, current situation photographs of your weather. It isn't that hard to understand.
A brief description such as temperature, precipitation type, general world location and the wind speed at the time of photographing so us viewers can better get a feel for the weather where you are.
I will continue to do this, and if it takes off, well, then... my upvote isn't that powerful right now so hopefully some whales would appreciate this tag. If it fails at first, I will try this again.
I would love to get this tag rolling, because I am so interested in weather, and every member in this community is scattered about, living around the world experiencing completely different meteorological conditions than I am at this current moment. (I get you may be reading this much later than my post but it most likely still applies) Plus this is a great way to start gaining traction and bringing out the weather geeks in all of us here on Steemit and hopefully be able to bring in some never before seen weather photos.
There are SOOOOO many amazing professionals and amateur photographers and scientists alike on Steemit that I know this tag could interest and thus could be huge! Weather plays a huge role in all of our lives.. just like the landslide in CA today. Crazy shit happens every day, and I pray for the world.
So please, let us begin a new photography tag in #myweather where we can all share our current weather conditions, simply.
