Last week I watched the movie "In Time".
Yes, the film is not new, 2011. And I saw this movie again. My wife really wanted to.
I think that the plot is known to many. The whole point is that this film shows the real "time is money". At 25 years of age, all people have an internal time counter that is reflected on the hand and shows the time before death. The rich have a lot of time-money, but the poor people live one day or even one hour. They are constantly thinking about time, they do not sleep much, they do everything quickly, but it still does not give them the opportunity to get a lot of time. These are the rules of the game in this life: the salary of workers in factories increases, and the price of all services immediately increases, and taxes increase. There are zones of life for each layer of people and people can't move from one zone to another. India? Castes?
By the way, life in certain areas is seen in many futuristic films. For example, this is reflected in the movie "The Hunger games". I can't remember a movie with the same zones of life based on the skills of their inhabitants. My sclerosis is to blame. Guys, tell me.
The lack of time and money is an eternal theme, but it is in this film that "time is life" is also so vividly shown. There is a saying in Russia: "you fight like a fish on ice".
And now I want to ask: is steemit a waste of time for many of us, or is there any benefit to it? What do we have from steem, on which we spend our time, our life, which is not infinite for us?
At the time of viewing the film, my daughter, who is 11 years old, came to the room, asked us about the plot and the film and then said: what a terrible future we have.
I want to say that in many films about the future, there is nothing good or beautiful. And it is true that some terrible future awaits humanity.
I would like to know what you think about it.
Thanks for reading...

I actually really enjoyed this movie. I'm not gonna check but I think the critics were pretty mean to it. Justin is a pretty wonderful actor and would like to see him in more stuff also.
I do like the way that the ultra rich seemed to not really be concerned about how much time they had and I think that reflects real life in a way. I know one or two people that are seriously rich and both of them say that the more money they get the more problems they have and this is really difficult for middle class people like me to relate to but there must be something to it.

Thanks for the comment.
I also liked the movie. And the problems raised are real.
The New Robin Hoods?
