You know you live in a nanny state when!

I hear Americans screaming with rage with the mere mention with regards banning their guns, and rightly so!.
These bangers (we call them that in the UK) or firecrackers are banned in the nanny state that is the UK. you simply can not buy them, because some stupid child once held one instead of throwing it, after HE lit it, and may have burnt his hand!.

They almost banned children's bouncy castles this year, as one child died when he jumped a bit tooooo high and was thrown off it breaking his neck.

Fireworks in launch tubes were banned when a headmaster of a school was doing a firework show on Guy Fawkes day, he lit a mortar and it failed to shoot up and explode, so he went and looked down the tube, it blew HIS stupid head off, so everyone can not buy them now, it is the "you can only go as fast as the most stupid person" syndrome that is so called "health and safety" you see.

Well enough about that stupid place that was once home. Here I can buy them, and even better still I have no neighbors. So I have put them to good use with blowing up mole holes in my yard lol.

I tried a double barrel aimed at the holes first, though that makes a hell of a mess.

Above are the offending mounds of what was my nice courtyard lawn.

Below is my treatment to avoid having to keep shoveling the dirt away. Insert explosives, light and "RUN AWAY".......

The beauty of this is you can repeat this as often as you like, and I did today, I count 20 mounds I blew up and destroyed, and to say it is fun (as a bloke lol) is understating things a little!.

Music time.

We took in a few shops today they call supermarkets. The one thing I do like about these local shop destroying behemoths is some of them sell vinyl and 180 gram vinyl at that. £10 or $12 US gets you to own one, with also a download code for the digital version for free.

So today's album of choice we purchased is Eric Clapton slowhand, which includes the track cocaine yippee.

So with the shoulder slowly improving and me able to type with two hands again, I guess tomorrow I shall be back to longer length articles, though for now I am going to give it a little more rest.

With this in mind, I am off to listen to some Clapton, stay well and see you again, make a loved one smile, and have superb day where ever you are in the world.
