The Narendra Modi Stadium is a cricket stadium located in Motera, Ahmedabad, India. It is the largest cricket stadium in the world with a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators. The stadium was originally known as the Sardar Patel Stadium and was built in 1982. In 2020, the stadium was renovated and renamed after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The stadium has hosted a number of international cricket matches, including the quarterfinals of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, the 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL) final, and the first-ever pink-ball day-night Test match played in India between India and England in February 2021.
