The river flowing in Hoshangabad

Hoshangabad is a major city located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Hoshangabad is the district headquarters. Hoshangabad was established in the beginning of the fifteenth century by Sultan Hushangshah Gauri, the second king of Mandu (Malva). Hoshangabad is situated on the banks of river Narmada. It is situated on the edge of Parastupura Mountain. Narmada river flows along the northern boundary of the district. Narmada's auxiliary river is Dudhi which forms the northern eastern boundary of Hoshangabad district.
Hoshangabad is a securities paper factory in which paper is made for printing Indian rupees. There is also a Kendriya Vidyalaya, whose full name is Hoshangabad, Kendriya Vidyalaya Securities Paper Factory. There are ancient hills near Hoshangabad which are called "Paharia". There are some caves in these hills, in which the sculptures, which are also called rock paintings have been carved. These rock paintings are manufactured by humans. Even after being under the open sky for thousands of years, these paintings are still not erased. The famous Sethani Ghat of Narmada river is in Hoshangabad only. Hoshangabad has an ancient Gurukul. Narmada is a major river flowing in Madhya Pradesh's Madhya Pradesh and the state of Gujarat. The river Narmada has originated from the Amarkantak peak of Mahakal Mountain. Its length is approximately 1310 kilometers.
This river goes towards the west and falls into the Gulf of Khambat. Jabalpur town on the banks of this river is notable. This river is not delta at the mouth. Narmada waterfall of Bhedghat near Jabalpur is quite famous. Amarkantak, Nemavar, Gurukrishi Ashram, Jhikoli along the banks of this river are famous pilgrimages such as Shuklathirth, where travelers travel far and wide. Narmada river is considered to be the boundary of northern and southern India.
