I was told to check out the Narrative platform by a few people
But you know how that goes, right? You think I will do that later, and then forget about it until someone else mentions it again. This was exactly what happened after @misslasvegas told me to check it out (I think) months ago. But then @raymondspeaks also mentioned Narrative not too long ago, so I created my account, and then didn't do anything until a few days ago. I mean, it's another platform where things work different, and I'm also quite busy with other things that I was afraid to not find enough time anyway. But something was telling me that I should make time to write an introduction post so I could build a network, and see what the platform brings me.
Yesterday I was in the right flow and published the introduction post
If you're curious what my introduction post looks like, you can read it here. My introduction post was well received, and I got welcomed by quite a few Narrators as they are called.. I have come across some great articles, and I'm curious to see who I will connect with over there. I'm always hungry for more great content to read and also to connect with more people. Although they also have an upvote (or downvote) system over there, it's still quite different than Steemit. As far as I know (still figuring out how things work) there's no limit on voting over there, and you won't see the value of your post until they are distributing the rewards as far as I can tell at this point. I may be wrong, as I'm still new and discovering how it all works. Personally I'm loving the blogging editor and layout of the site, and I've also seen some familiar faces from Steemit in these two days that I'm engaging. In case you're wondering what the website is, click here and have a look yourself if you're interested.
Are you also a Narrator on Narrative? Or is this platform new to you? If you have a profile over there, feel free to leave a comment so we can connect over there as well...
