Nothing but a dog takes the gifts

After we left the church in the middle of the eve. I headed home, meanwhile my brother and parents were still willing to stay inside for another two more hours. They said they wanted to speak to some random people.

So I got home myself, once I arrived home I was planning to open up the gift boxes from my family and friends tommorow. For that was our annual tradition. So I got home and determined to watch something more peculiar this Christmas. I turned on the TV and started to watch Christmas carols instead.

I watched for almost half an hour before the tedious productions got over. When it finished with the finals, I packed away my biscuits instead dad returns. But something didn’t feel right once I hopped onto my bed and started to fall asleep. Like when someone turns the fire on from the stove and forgets to turn t off.

I walked out of my bedroom, fatigued. I realised that my brother was still missing, probably still at the church, but my dog was missing too. When I heard some chewing noise coming from downstairs, I rushed down and scurried towards the lounge where our Christmas tree was placed.

Looked down and found my dog, Lizzie chewing on all the presents.
