Among the assumptions about Earth formation, an alternative one proposed by a known NASA researcher has now been added. It suggests that mankind is in a giant hologram created by advanced alien species. Many people associate the idea of a world simulated with that of the movie Matrix, in which the main character realizes that the human race is in a giant simulator manipulated by external forces.
According to Medium, Professor Nick Bostrom, of Oxford University, is the first person to take the theory of cinematography and apply it to the real world. The theory is supported by several specialists, such as Rich Terrile, director of NASA's Center for Evolutionary Computing and Automated Design, who also proposed that our planet is controlled by a programmer. In other words, the whole world we live in is a hologram, and everything around is a kind of digital reality similar to Matrix.
"At present, NASA's supercomputers operate at a double speed to that of the human brain ... if we make a simple calculation through Moore's Law (which claims that computers can double in two years) we will find that supercomputers will be able to change the life of a person over the course of 80 years, including any thought of it.
Quantum mechanics, particles do not have a defined state unless they are observed ... Over time, many theorists have tried to explain this phenomenon. One explanation is that we live in a simulator, where we see what we want to see when we need it, "Rich Terrile said.
This theory could explain many of the mysteries that have intrigued scholars, philosophers and religious authorities for years.
