Nasi Lemak - The National Dish of Malaysia

in nasi •  6 years ago

If one day, you do drop by in Malaysia for a visit, do try the Nasi Lemak which translate as Oily rice.

That's my wife taking a picture of her plate of Nasi Lemak.

The close up of the Nasi Lemak.

The rice is cooked with coconut fragrance. There are some fried anchovies, peanuts and the gravy is a bit towards the sweet spicy region.

Then there is one egg and a cucumber slice. The Nasi Lemak is an original dish that have been eaten in this country for hundreds of years. There are slight variations to this dish. The first thing you would notice when it served in front of you and that's the smell.
