NATA 2019: Application dates, Registration, Syllabus, Eligibility. Latest updates.

Mad school is a school situated in Hyderabad for all the design aspirants willing to take a step towards their dream. We teach for all the design entrance exams like NATA, NIFT, B. Arch, NID, CEED, UCEED, B.Design, BFA, Photography etc. Our results speak the most about us.   

Like we all know, the Council of Architecture (COA) has decided to conduct the NATA entrance exam twice from the year 2019. So, the entrance will be held around mid-April and in the first week of July. Since the NATA exam will be conducted twice a year, the change in the Exam pattern is also expected. Follow the link below for more details: NATA 2019   NATA 2019 exam will have two parts i.e. Part A and Part B. Part A consists of multiple choice questions and Part B will hold Paper based Drawing. NATA exam is conducted all over the country by the Council of Architecture (COA).  

Important dates for NATA 2019   1. NATA 2019 Application form is expected to be out in the 3rd week of January 2019 2. Late date for submission will be in the Last week of March 2019 3. Admit card can be issued in the 3rd Week of April 2019 4. NATA EXAM 2019 will be held in the last week of April 2019 5. Results will be declared in the 1st week of June 2019   

Here is the eligibility criterion for NATA 2019   

NATA eligibility criteria    The candidate should have either passed/ appearing in 10 +2 The minimum marks scored: 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and math. Candidate needs a minimum of 50 % aggregate in qualifying the exam. The candidate must be 17 years age as on July 31, 2019   Although the candidates meet the eligibility criteria, the candidate is required to qualify in the NATA exam for the admissions to B. Arch course.    

NATA Application form 2019   The release of application form for NATA 2019 will be done online in the 3rd week of January 2019. The candidate is required to fill in the registration form with the required details.    

How to Apply NATA application form 2019   

Step 1 - Register with the candidate's details 

Step- 2 - Login to the account to fill the further details 

Step- 3 - Upload the required documents 

Step- 4 - Submit the form 

Step -5 - Pay the application fee 

Step - 6- Take a print of the payment confirmation   

NATA Exam centers 2019   The candidate is required to choose three exam centers while filling the NATA 2019 application form. The list of NATA exam centers for 2019 will be updated once the NATA exam dates are announced and candidates can check out the allotted exam centers in the admit card.    

NATA exam pattern 2019   Part A: PART A includes multiple choice questions; mode of the exam will be online.   Part B: Part B will consist of two questions, drawing-based, mode of the exam will be offline.   Each multiple choice question carries 2 marks. The two drawing-based questions in Part B carry 40 marks each. Duration of the exam will be 3 hours which is 180 minutes, each park for 90 minutes.   

NATA 2019 syllabus NATA syllabus usually is a combination of General Aptitude, Mathematics and Drawing. 

General Aptitude: Architectural awareness, Imaginative comprehension, and expression , visualizing different sides of three dimensional objects, visualizing three dimensional objects through two dimensional drawing, Textural Identification of commonly used material and objects, Mental ability (verbal, visual, and numerical), General awareness of renowned architects, , Analytical and Verbal Reasoning and famous architectural installations. 

Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Permutation and Combination, Coordinate Geometry and 3-Dimensional Co-ordinate geometry, Logarithms, Matrices, Calculus – Theory & Application, Statistics, and Probability.     

Drawing Test: Understanding of scale and proportion, geometric composition, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast, aesthetics, conceptualization and visualization by structuring objects in memory, drawing geometrical and abstract patterns, form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, elevation, rotation, surfaces and volumes, and color texture, creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shape and forms, generating plan, subtraction, and 3D views of objects., common day-to-day life objects like furniture, sketching of urbanscape and landscape, Perspective drawing, equipment etc., from memory.
