Just to let you know what is going on in the Choctaw Elder Community. We are in the business of developing a social construct for the Choctaw Elders (Members of the Choctaw Tribe who are 60 and over). We do fundraisers to fund excursions for the Elders who otherwise would not be able to afford the trips. These mini forays include opportunities to visit the Choctaw Homeland in Mississippi, the Red Earth event in Oklahoma City and various other events. These trips give the Tribal Elders a view of their History and Culture so that they can carry the torch of Choctaw Community into the future. I will be posting pictures of our adventures in the future so stay tuned.
