Sawo Kecik is also called Sawo Jawa. Whereas in English, this rare plant is referred to as Caqui and Manilkara. In some other countries it is called Khirni (India), and Lámút Sida or Lámút Thai (Thailand). Whereas in scientific language (Latin) Sawo Kecik is called Manilkara kauki which is synonymous with Mimusops kauki, and Manilkara kaukii.
Characteristic features. Sawo Kecik Tree (Manilkara kauki) with medium size reaching 25 m. The diameter (diameter) of the Sawo Kecik tree trunk is able to reach 100 cm.
Utilization of Sapodilla Sapodilla Tree. Although Sawo Kecik is a fruit-producing tree, it is not only the fruit that can be used. The trunk is widely used as building materials, household furniture, and art works such as sculptures, carvings, even musical instruments such as tambourines and violin bodies.
