Paddy rice is a kind of rice grown in a water-filled area called rice paddy. Without the water, the rice paddy should not live in fertile condition.

Paddy rice is grown on the ground of the vacuum. Alluvium plant a kind of fine clay and able to water the water for some time.

This land is commonly found on the edge of sungaidan receive overflow of floods such as diDelta Kelantan and Kedah Perlis Plains.
