Los Periquitos Australianos cuyo nombre científico (Melopsittacus Undulatus) son aves de fácil reproducción y cuidados. el macho se diferencia de la hembra por el color de la cera de sus picos rosa o marrón (Hembra) azul (Macho)
Para su reproducción es necesario una buena alimentación, nido y una jaula grande para su buena comodidad.
