Flower Medicine Growing in Acapulco

I am so excited that I found Tribulus Terrestris aka Puncture Vine aka Jamaican Fever Plant growing here in Acapulco! This plant makes those awful sticker burrs that stick in your dog's fur, but it is actually medicinal!!! This is an herb that we used to sell in powder form at our bookstore in Austin. The root and sticker have the biggest medicinal punch, but all parts of the plant can be used.

It is commonly used for male (and female) sexual enhancement and as a post workout supplement.. it also helps with cardiovascular issues as well as digestive. I think of it as the Maca root for men 😂😂😂😂 I am going to harvest some for future use in our family...

While travelling, digestive issues are not uncommon... I harvested White Snake Root in Kansas City that we have used for "the runs", and this will be used for digestive "back up".

As a flower essence (yes, I made one!) This plant offers a deep emotional awareness, bringing up emotions you may not have been aware were present beneath the surface.
