It is custom in India to eat saunf or fennel. Normally shaunf is eaten with mishri(a kind of sugar). It has two benefits. It is tasty and it is helpful to make process of digestion easy. Saunf is also mixed in food.
Fennel helps in digestion fennel controls. It increases the enzymes secretions that help in digestion.
Fennel also control's the blood pressure . It brings the cholesterol at optimum level. if you have high blood pressure then one should eat fennel.
Fennel contain the vitamin C and vitamin A. Vitamin A is good for getting a good eyesight.
Fennel helps in curing anaemia. It contains iron which is the main content of your blood. So if you are eating saunf or fennel, you are keeping away anaemia.
