The history of dog and role they played in human existence came in 18th century, when the term "man's" best friend came into the lexicon.
Dog are domestic animal,they serve as pet to human.
Science say,owning a dog is seriously good for physical and mental health.
In country like Nigeria,Dog are useful to the people it is called so many name like Aja,NKita,Kare etc
The importance of dog is as follows:
It help with depression
It serve as security means for homes
It serve as companion to owner
It is use as means of hunting
It brings income in term of trading
It is edible
It is cancer detector
In Nigeria,it is useful in traditional way for worshipping idol such as Ogun.
Dog is ancient meat in Nigeria.it is very important.
