Yesterday, we took a walk around our neighborhood, and this appeared! It was really beautiful and very bright. This is the start of windy/dry season in Panama. I now know why they call it windy season. The wind blows and howls at all hours of the day and night where we live.
Thankfully rainbows are another common occurrence during dry season. Such a blue sky, warm sun, green grass! It is nice to be able to get outside, but hold on to your hat!
Here are some Rainbow Eucalyptus with a rainbow in the background. It's so obvious why these trees are named as they are when you see them up close.

That is so crazy. My dad grew up in Levelland - 30 minutes from Lubbock - and my husband attended college at Texas Tech! Small world! Yes, it is similar to the Lubbock winds. Just without the dust devils.

Looks nice! Well, better than my walk looked. How's the no-snow and beautiful weather? The rainbow Eucalyptus looks interesting, and everything looks so lush and green.
The wind sounds familiar. During the "Levante" in Spain, some of my clothes blew off the line. The monkeys in Gibraltar are probably wearing my nickers!

Rainy season just ended so everything is green. At the end of dry season, everything is supposed to be brown. I'm not a huge fan of dry season right now. I don't like the wind at all. Lol - crazy that you lost clothes thanks to the wind!

Levante and poniente are the trade winds in the Strait of Gibraltar. Depending on where you are, one or the other can really be powerful. The sustained winds of 30mph have taken the lives of many unfortunate umbrellas! My clothesline was on the top of the building. Clothespins were very inadequate!
