BACK IN ANOTHER GARDEN : THE KITCHEN GARDEN

Let's go back to the garden of my parents-in-law.

They have been farmers since their youngest age,
now they are retired and continue to cultivate,
because it's their real favorite hobby.
They grow enough for the whole family !!!

Huge rays of onions, garlic, potatoes,
for to have for us it for all winter.

Last year, he added asparagus,

we were able to taste them this spring, a real delight!

Now he lets them climb for next year.

His artichoke plants are huge!

This spring, we discover new insects that we have never seen before!

They are Chilocorus larvae.
They are from the same family as ladybugs, they feed on cochineal and aphids.
There are thousands on plants that have already begun to be attacked!

Fortunately they are here ... our saviors!
We will be able to prepare them to eat with a little olive oil and lemon.
Yum !
