Biogeochemical cycle

This word seem ambiguous, yes even to my hearing.... But wait a minute let me break it down.. Biology ( life including the physical chemical composition) , geology ( processes and products of the earth), chemical (pure substances with definite chemical composition).now you want to know what is biogeochemical cycle...this is the cycle whereby we have substances be it pure or any other moves through a pathway comprising of biotic and abiotic ( living and non living things) but in this case it is the lithosphere and atmosphere( abiotic ) and biosphere( biotic ) compartments of the earth.
It can also be said as any pathway by which essential elements of living matter circulate. A typical example is our nitrogen cycle and a diagram is shown below to support that course..

There are biogeochemical cycles for oxygen, carbondioxide, nitrogen and many more, in some cycles there is presence of reservoir while in others there are not. The major factor or should i say driver is our dear Sun. This sums up our external process from our previous topic and if there are questions, i am willing to answer..
Thanks
