Morning steemers,
I was out tending to the patch a while back and caught this snap of a beautiful ODANATA specimen. I have tried to identify its exact species but have had no luck :-(

Side on picture, rad looking fella!

He/she was very chilled and nearly seemed to be posing for the pictures I wanted before flying off to the nearby Duranta shrub.

Front on the Dragonfly had an spooky look to it.

Side on shot of the landing.

If anyone on here is Entomologically minded and knows the name of this awesome little creature please leave me a comment!
I will lay here awake until the question is answered :-)
Happy gardening,
Sam.

Nice shots! I can tell apart most species in The Netherlands, but I can't even guess at what this one is, what with you living with the upside-down people and all.

Im not the best with the odanata order unfortunately, im too upside down haha.
Thanks heaps for the re-steem!!! hopefully someone can ID this legend :-)

Looks like dinosaur :D

It does 😉
