Our Story

Years ago my wife and I thought it would be great to just ditch everything we had in Arizona, move to Colombia, buy a coffee farm and live a simple life. The more and more we thought about it the more and more I (husband Tim) wanted to make it happen. My wife (Ana) wasn't never quite sure I was serious as it would be a great leap of faith for me, a AZ native to give up everything and move to a country where I knew little about, and spoke even less of the language. However, she also knew I loved Colombia, we traveled many times to visit her family and each time it was harder and harder for me to come back to the deserts of Arizona. Don't get me wrong, I love AZ, born in Tempe, grew up in the East Valley and never seriously thought I would ever move to another state....let alone another country. As time went on the idea kept growing in my mind about making such a big move, was I crazy? Or did I finally reach the point where I was ready to take a chance and do something different with my life. I already found the perfect companion for this adventure, my wife always wanted to live on a farm but never thought it would be possible...and now she was married to a crazy gringo who thought...why not?? I really believed we could do it, we make a great team, we never fight, we work well together, and she's my best friend who I never get tired of being around. So, after a lot of thinking I just said screw it......we're doing it! Well, that was the easy part, to make it happen was another thing, well, a lot of other things.....to be continued;)
