Thats great! I learned gold panning while camping in Nothern California. These two grizzly guys were panning a creek at the camp. They were more than happy to share what they knew.
I live in southern New York and have tried here as well, no luck yet , but you have re inspired me. So much fun. I'll let you know if I come across any. Keep trying, its there somewhere.C2
